| Early Instrumental Records
Instrument solos took a unique music form in the early recording years. Loud, distinct instruments made clear sounding records, in a limited technology. The earliest would be a simple combination of piano and soloist. Brass and wind bands also did well. Many of the soloists featured below were famous members of John Phillip Sousa's band.
